Daniel Hwang

Founder & Lead Design Consultant

Daniel is the Founder and Lead Design Consultant at Shades & Blinds Co. A Glendale native, he grew up locally, attended La Canada High School, and earned a business management degree from the University of Phoenix in Pasadena. With more than 22 years of experience in real estate and title insurance, including working with several Fortune 500 and INC ranked companies, Daniel brings his real estate expertise and property insight to every project. Continuing his family’s decade long legacy in the window covering industry, he founded Shades & Blinds Co. to deliver quality craftsmanship through simplified, personalized service. Outside of work, Daniel is a devoted husband, father, and proud pawrent to their maltipoo Bentley, a committed Christ follower, and an active community volunteer who serves as Affiliate Chair for AREAA Greater Los Angeles and supports organizations focused on families in need, and affordable housing, including recent efforts with the AREAA Foundation to aid victims of the Altadena and Palisade fires in California.

VP of Pawsitive Energy

Bentley is the mastermind behind all the tail wags, happy vibes, and morale boosting snuggles at Shades & Blinds Co. With a keen nose for adventure, Bentley ensures every project is approached with joy, energy, and the occasional puppy-dog stare that’s impossible to resist. When he’s not supervising blinds installations from his favorite sunny spot by the window, he’s busy keeping Daniel humble and clients entertained.
